If you are using either the new Wisdom runeword helm or the Razortail belt, you will get 33% Piercing through either of those 8 points in Pierce is enough to get 98% and 9 is enough to get 100% (or just 2 points in Pierce if wearing both). Simply put, Mist doesn't have enough to offer to displace the current BiS bows for players, the Runewords Faith and Ice and the Uniques Buriza-do Kyanon and Windforce, particularly when you look at the whole picture combining the bows with the weapons and properties of their mercenaries.ġ00% Piercing is very nice if you're a Javazon, Bowazon, or a Throw Barbarian, but it's not that hard to achieve 100% Piercing through other means. It isn't as good as other BiS Runeword bows such as Faith for Physical builds such as Strafezons or Ice for Ice Bowazons. However, this really has "Act I Mercenary" written all over it, rather than a bow that any Bowazon build might use.
Mist is a Bow/Crossbow Runeword that includes an emanating aura for Concentration, 100% Piercing attack, +3 to all skills, and other traits of potential interest to Bowazons. Level 8-12 Concentration Aura When Equipped (varies)
